Chezza in Suburbia: Cheryl Cole takes it back to the Sixties in retro video shoot for Under The Sun

For her last single Call My Name, Cheryl Cole went for a flamboyant urban look as she danced around the streets of LA.
But for her new single Under The Sun, the singer, 29, has slowed down the pace as she plays a Sixties siren in a retro, suburban video.
However, the singer shows off a bit more skin than women usually did in the Sixties with her bolero showing off her yellow bra underneath.

In a sneak peek at the Girls Aloud's new video, which doesn't premiere on Vevo until July 26, the brunette is seen walking through the streets of a suburban town past vintage cars and housewives doing their cleaning.
As she poses on the bonnet of an old grey car, it looks like Cheryl is surrounded by men in suits.
The vide has been directed by Anthony Mandler, who set the video in a world where thing's aren't always as they seem.

The new single was co-written by Cheryl and Alex da Kid, Mike Del Rio, Jayson DeZuzio, Steven Battey, Carlos Battey in Los Angeles earlier this year.
Under The Sun is her second release from her third album A Million Lights, which hit No.2 in the UK album charts earlier this year.
It follows on from her No.1 single Call My Name, which is the fastest selling single of the year so far.

Cheryl only released two singles from her second album Messy Little Raindrops - Promise This and The Flood - with the former being her second No.1 single.
During her three solo albums, Cheryl has only released a total of six solo singles, with Under The Sun set to be her seventh.
Meanwhile, the singer has been noticeably absent from her Twitter page for the past two weeks.

She last tweeted on July 6.
The Twitter absent may be linked to the death of her great-grandmother Nora Tweedy, who died on July 9.
The 90-year-old, who was the grandmother of Cheryl's father Gary, died of pneumonia following a stroke.
Under The Sun is released on single and to download on September 2.
