'You caught me in between waxes!': Pixie Lott cringes at being snapped with hairy armpits... as she covers up at The Art of Rap premiere

She got caught out with unshaven armpits at the London premiere of The Dark Knight Rises last night.
But Pixie Lott wasn't about to make the same mistake twice.
After having forgotten one very important part of her grooming routine the previous evening, the 21-year-old singer made sure to cover any lurking underarm fuzz as she attended the European premiere of The Art of Rap this evening.

Smiling for the cameras at London's Hammersmith Apollo, Pixie was safe in the knowledge that any potential armpit faux pas was hidden away.

Earlier today, the star spoke of her embarassment at being caught out au natural.
Writing on her Twitter page, she said: 'Ooooopsies a little bit from inbetween waxes hahaha :).'

Perhaps Pixie was taking some styling tips from Julia Roberts, who shocked fans with her underarm hair growth at the premiere of Notting Hill back in 1999.
Other stars to have gone au naturel in the past include Beyoncé, Britney Spears and Sharon Stone.
Despite Pixie's grooming faux pas, the singer looked stylish in her aquamarine dress at the premiere, which was also attended by the movie's stars Christian Bale, Anne Hathaway and Marion Cotillard.
However, Pixie can't have been aware that Made In Chelsea star Kimberley Garner would choose a very similar aquamarine halterneck dress to wear to the event.
But while Kimberley showed off her slender figure in the outfit, Pixie went for a more modesty approach, and covered up her cleavage in the long dress.
Pixie, who has designed numerous collections for high-street store Lipsy, spoke previously about her fashion sense, and said she doesn't feel the need to shed her clothes to attract attention.

She said: 'Sexiness definitely comes from the inside, though – if you feel comfortable, you feel sexier and more confident.

'I’ve definitely grown up a lot although I think my identity is still the same. I always had quite a strong sense of what I liked and didn’t like and I don’t think that has changed.'
