So perhaps Jason Statham had just found out his girlfriend Rosie Huntington-Whiteley was indulging in a bank-busting shopping spree as he made his way to his car in Beverly Hills at the weekend.
The Expendables actor looked as rough and ready as ever as he departed the shop in the posh area of Los Angeles.

Jason went for a trendy-but-casual look, donning a Lacoste training jacket, blue jeans and white trainers.
And ever the action man, he channelled Top Gun-era Tom Cruise by wearing a pair of aviator sunglasses.
But while the frugal 45-year-old managed to resist temptation by emerging from the posh shop empty handed, it appears his good lady was not so prudent.

For the 25-year-old model was ominously spotted emerging from a posh boutique in Hollywood with a bag full of expensive garments.
She had just visited the ultra-expensive Fred Segal shop in West Hollywood, and seemed eager to get on with another day of going wild in the aisles.
The pair have returned to tinseltown after an over-the-top skiing holiday in the French Alps.
They were spotted indulging in some very public displays of affection as they enjoyed the winter wonderland.
